That's why we went to the moon. Yeah. Artemis was there was a bit of them yeah. Yeah. You're not hearing about it, but part of the mission was to test the e m f m signal Yeah. On the other side of the moon. Yeah. And it's good. It's clear. It's amazing. And that upgrade is thanks to you probably heard the commercial Yeah. Pledgerama. Pledgerama. It's it's thanks to listeners like you Yeah. Who so graciously open up your pocket books on a yearly occasion to help keep this station tip top and broadcasting further and further into the space. For sure. Yeah. We wouldn't be able to do this without generous listener support and you, the community. So, yeah. I think pre pledges are open up. Yeah. Yeah. But I think pledrama officially kicks off this Friday. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So check out umfm dot com. Yeah. For the the pre pledges, check out the the awesome incentives this year. They've got some cool graphics on their merch. Yeah. Some cool, like, kinda like a tattoo looking style too. I'm digging the designs this year. It's so check that out. It's some cool stuff. I dig this I dig the designs every year, to be honest. They they always kinda That was nice. Get a special special run of stuff and Yeah. Always looks nice. Yeah. It's always it's always good to rep the UMFM gear because it's always looking so good. People always ask me about it. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. It's it's it's popular. People want it. Yeah. Check out u m f m dot org dot com, and our pledgerama show will be next week. Pledgerama kicks off this Friday, runs for a week. So Yeah. It's gonna be special. It's gonna be special. And I've been kinda putting this off, but remember a while back we were talking about installing a complaint line. We opened it up. We opened it up. So we're we're we're nothing but we wanna be transparent. We wanna be accountable. We wanna, you know, listen to listener feedback. So we a while back, we invited people to leave messages about comments and criticisms about the show, things they think we can improve on. And so the the machine has just been, like, filling up, so we should probably check it. Yeah. We better go through it. Let's see. We've been having to flip the answering machine Yeah. Like every couple hours. Yeah. We're we're flipping the tape back and forth. It's a it's one of those really small tapes, dude. Yeah. Yeah. It's one of those micro tapes. Yes. Yeah. So this is I'm this the the first of, I'm sure, many of international feel complaints. The complaints department. So let me just Just we do listen. Okay. Yes. Well, we wanna listen. So, yeah. Let's do it. Oh. Oh. How does that work? Okay. They hang up. Let's try that again. Yeah. There we go. There we go. Okay. Try that again. Hi, International Feel. I got a complaint for you. What I can't stand is when I'm at the hamburger shop and I'm stuck in line behind somebody who hasn't figured out their order. Who even gets in line without knowing what they want. And then they have the nerve to ask, what do you recommend? Get out of the line until you make up your mind. I mean, it really burns my biscuits. There should be two lines. An express line for those of us who know how to order, and a line for those undecided undecided diners. I hate it. Anyways, like your show, keep up the good work. Wow. That's a complaint that complaints kinda out of scope. That's a that's kind of a gen oh, that's a we're we're thinking more specific to the show. Yeah. I mean, had nothing to do with the show, but I mean, that that that annoys me too. That being said, I'm totally with them. Yeah. I agree with the listener. Yeah. Yeah. That's were they referring to International Feel Burgers? Oh. Oh, That's our our Our less known chain of hamburger stores. Our fast food foray. Yeah. Okay. So so that's kind of a taste like Okay. Well, they like the show. They like the That's positive. Okay. Yeah. Let's try another one. Let's let's dig into another Their complaint was with the human condition. Yeah. So may well, maybe this one will be more about the show. Hello. Is this the International Feel complaint line? How come you guys never say what songs you play? I'm sitting in my car, you know, just listening to the show. You guys come on and you talk about everything but the music you play. This is a music show. Right? Why are you wasting my time with all this foolishness? And you need more contests. I love free stuff. I deserve it. Come on. Just give me some free stuff. That that's probably one of the fairest critiques Yeah. I've ever heard of the show. Yeah. That's that's accurate. We we never talk about the music, but that's why you have to visit the websites. Go to umfm dot com or international dot org. We have all the music we play there. And I don't think we're giving away enough free stuff. That's We need to work on that. We gotta work on that. We gotta leave things in weird spots so people can find it. That's it. They didn't leave a way to follow-up, so we can't we can't say retroactively give them free stuff so Well, just maybe keep listening and maybe we'll have a contest in the near future. Yeah. Yeah, okay, so maybe we'll do one more. Yeah, what does that sound? There was a whole lot complaints. There were there's we have a whole tape full. We're not gonna get through all of them today, but Yeah. It's just a good good Yeah. Good smattering. Yeah. We'll just do one more. Oh, got some words for you. You rotten. You think you're so great with your radio show and your you try to all you complaints. Yeah. I got complaints. First of all, and then you got for real, you think I think you're just a table tennis. Okay? Oh, jeez. That Settle down, man. That's dingus. Yeah. That one kinda hurt. You put yeah, you put our editing team Yeah. Through a ton of work there. And that was That was live editing. Yeah. They were quick with the button there. Yeah. Some of those I don't think they were kinda collateral damage, like some of them shouldn't have been, but most of those some I don't even know it got it got pretty personal that hurt the honest that cut deep I don't even know what some of those mean I know I I'm learning a few new swear words I might I might need another nature retreat if Yeah. This gets any worse. Mindfulness Yeah. Practice. I think that's a good idea. I think to to to, you know, overcome Is that what people do? They read the comments? That's that's why you shouldn't. That that hurts, man. Why do people do that? I don't know. So I I guess maybe we'll take a break off the the complaint line for a bit, but we'll still be it's okay, man. It's okay, buddy. If you're out there being mean in your call and mean in people's comments, like, shame. Yeah. Just maybe channel that energy into something else like model airplanes or something. Try to be positive. Yeah. But keep leaving the criticisms if you The fair criticisms. Yeah. You can leave them at international feel dot org or we've got the the UMFM phone line at two zero four two six nine eight six three six for a couple minutes. You can leave your criticisms and comments there, but we probably won't we're gonna take a bit of a break from playing those. Kind of a I need to cry. We need a good cry. Yeah. Praise only right now. Yeah. So Yeah. I just need a pat on the back. Yeah. Let's go I'm into that field again. Yeah. Good good job, guys. Yeah. Yeah. I think we did good today. I think we handled that well. Yes. With minimal tears. So it's been good. Feedback is a gift. Feedback is a gift. Yeah. But too much feedback can be a curse, and it can hurt some feelings. Yeah. Especially when people are so spiteful. Yeah. And with save up to you. Yeah. We are fragile beings. Oh, that's why we're on radio. I am. We're sensitive. Yeah. Anyways, that about does it for this show. We'll be back next week with our special Pledge Rama show, so join us then. But, yeah, we got time for one more to kind of soothe the wounds from that savage yelling at Thrashing. It was a thrash. That was thrashing, honestly. Be friends. Yeah. We just wanna friends. Yeah. I wish he left his contact info, you know, because then we could settle it. You're gonna go find out. Yeah. Go over there. Throw my boots Stern talk with this man. Alright. Well, I guess Any parting parting words of wisdom for the show? Yeah. We've got some parting words before International Feel signs off for the evening. Oh, that's not it. I think man is a crazy animal. There we go. Yeah. That's that's that covers it. Yeah. Covers everything. Alright. International Feel signing off for another week. Farewell. The Manitoba Chamber Orchestra's Vinyl Vault is Winnipeg's largest and cheapest record collection.
