Oh, you beat me to it. Oh. Yeah. Or the dot org. Oh, yeah. The dot org. Dot org. That's where we that's where we get you. Yep. That's where we go. We try to Yeah. We've got all those various ways you can reach us, and there's more. There's more out there. The hidden menu. We touched on all of them, but people often ask us, we want more ways we can reach you. Mhmm. So, know, with all social media, which we're not we don't we don't really use, but someone came up to me the other day and they're like, I love your show, but I wish you would branch out more. I wanna I wanna reach you in in more exciting and current ways. So we we try to keep current on the show. Right? We try to be We try to adapt at the times and keep current. So I think today, should we dip our toe into the current and make our first TikTok? Oh. I'm thinking maybe we today, make our first TikTok. So it's groundbreaking. I'm going to start by saying, if you're in tall grass, wear long pants. Always check for ticks after you've been walking your dog. Check your pets for ticks. Mhmm. Mhmm. Yeah. So that's that's my TikTok for today. Oh. Interesting. Yeah. Do you have it do you have it mistaken for TED Talk? I think I do. It's a it's a it's a TED Talk about ticks. So it's a it's kind of a I I dropped the TED and added a tick. So that's my TikTok. It's kind of a public health Yeah. It's my public It's a PSA. Yeah. So, yeah, check your check your pets. Check your your bare skin after Check pit. Your pits. Check your pits. Your pits. Your Your pits. All of those places, please, because ticks are icky and Lyme disease is no fun. Yeah. I'm I'm more upset about the ickiness. Yeah. You don't you don't want them climbing on you, scurrying around on your your body. It's no fun. It's unpleasant. Yeah. And having two large dogs and Mhmm. Ample green space and long tall grasses in my, yeah, vicinity. You constantly pulling ticks off those dogs? They're just kind of they're releasing them just among like, about the house, you know. So So at this point, it's probably cheaper for you to take those tick pills than for you to give them to the dogs where Yeah. I've been I've actually started that route. You're already a tick pill regimen? Yeah. Yeah. They're they're like beef flavored, so it's it's okay, I guess. It's not the greatest. It's not the best. Yeah. What what flavor would you prefer? I don't know. It's I think maybe, like, ube. Something little something interesting. Yeah. Something just kinda off the beaten path. Yep. Okay. Well, that's gonna be our first TikTok. We'll we'll keep doing them throughout the summer. We'll have new tic tips. New ways to engage the young fans. Hopefully, they're not terribly disappointed. Yeah. I hope I hope not. I think just the youth is always kinda disappointed. I mean, when I was young, I was always disappointed, so I can't imagine it's changed at all. So I hope you're not disappointed with tonight's TikTok, but we're trying our best. International Feel. We're trying. Yeah. I know. Yeah. And then maybe we try Try something else. Try. Yeah. What should we try tonight? I mean, it's kind of quite a I was gonna say, maybe we try flying a kite or something. Yeah. It's not not super windy. It was kind of like It's it was yeah. Crazy tsunami or It was. Inland tsunami. It was I don't it was a prairie tsunami. Yeah. It was Prairie cyclone. Yeah. Which was it was pretty harrowing for a bit. Things were flying around. Hopefully, if you were out there in the the local vicinity, you didn't fly around or experience any damage, but hope everyone's safe. And I always thought it was weird that we had that basketball team, the Winnipeg Cyclones. Yeah. But now it makes sense. You know? It makes sense years after the fact. I could have been just too ignorant. Maybe we've always had cyclones, but this is this is the first time in recent memory that I've experienced a near near near miss. Yeah. It was it was close. It was very close. Yeah. Yeah. It just, like, skimmed right past you. It was a scammer. That was the I think the the meteorological meteorological term. It was a skimmer, not a clipper. Yeah. But a scammer. Or a skipper. Think where it's, in the middle of a clipper and a scammer. Skipper? I just I don't know. A scalper? A scalper. That's completely different. Yeah. Well, International Feel, we're here. We're doing a live show for, you know, the next half hour. No storm can keep us out. Yep. Proved that last week Yeah. And had to prove it again this week. Yeah. Episode one, Ground Zero. We Yeah. I don't I don't even remember. That's that's way back. Yeah. You think it's like November twenty thirteen or something like that? It was when In the International Feel We took to the Airwaves for the first It's the provenance. Yeah. It was it was It's it's grown into a strange beast since then. Mhmm. But I feel like the it's still The the genetic DNA is the same. Mhmm. We've kept it pretty pretty true to the original model, which was loose and nonsensical. Yeah. We we've made the conscious decision to produce the show in an amateur light. Yes. Like, it's a lens that we put the show through. Yeah. It's like a filter, like a kind of like a lo fi filter that you apply to the show. Because otherwise, the show is pristine, there's everything's polished, there's no rough edges, but then we apply this filter and it adds uhs and pause awkward pauses. Cuts cuts out a lot of the high brow kind of commentary and It kind of dumbs us down a bit. Layers in a few fart sounds and toilet flushes. Yes. Lots of that. So us to I feel to a level. Yeah. I I I feel like that's our our our aesthetic choice. And I just wanna say for I wanna address that some critics that I've heard The naysayers out there. The naysayers out there who say listening to too much International Feel can cause brain rot. I wanna say the tests are inconclusive. Yeah. There are only a couple test cases that ended in brain rot, so that's nonsense. Yeah. It's junk science, what you're throwing around. It's bunk. Yeah. It's it's bunk. Anyways, I just wanted to get that It's bunk and it drives me nuts. Yeah. I just wanted to address the critics, because I I know you're out there and you're saying these But wait. International Feel causes brain rot. Brain rot. But I'm here to say that mostly doesn't happen. Yeah. That happens in Select cases. Yeah. Yeah. So, yeah. There's it's mostly safe to listen to this program, so fear not. Yeah. Our lawyer says that those people had brain rot to begin with. Yep. I'm getting the the head nod from our lawyer in the room. He's saying it's okay to say that. Yeah. He's giving us carrot now. He's patting us on the head, saying we're good hosts. We did good. Yeah. Well, International Feel. We're in the last five minutes of the show. Thanks for stopping by and listening to some music with us. It's been a blast. It's always fun when, you know, we hang out on Wednesdays. And this might seem like a real, like, self serving kind of show, but we do this for your for the listeners. Oh, yeah. We we actually hate doing Yeah. It's It's a burden on us. We have to put on our shirt and ties and shave and And then apply apply that low brow filter Yeah. Which takes off the shirt and tie and makes it appear like we didn't shave. Yeah. Adds a little stubble. It's all for the listener. Yeah. It's all for the listening experience. Well, I mean, yeah, like, you know, you get made up for TV and stuff like that. You know, it's like we create the canvas and then let kind of makeup do its thing, you know. It's all part of the process. So, yeah. No, it's it's been fun. Now, it's time to take off all those layers of makeup Yeah. Digital filters. And Back to real life. Back to real life. So we'll be back in the studio next week, Wednesday from nine to ten. In the meantime, hop on over to international field dot org and listen to some past episodes. Yeah. Couldn't have said it better myself. Yeah. Okay. And to all the critics out there, stop criticizing. Yeah. Get better science. Yeah. I don't I think that's that's good to end on. Right? Get better sides? I I yeah. Lee the legal department's nodding. Yeah. Legal department says yes. They said, it's a thumbs up. It's a slam dunk. Catch you next week.
